two time noda "it's behind You" Award WINNER, London Region (2023/2025)
Be part of the magic behind the scenes!
It takes a huge number of people to bring a pantomime to life, and the people working behind the scenes are just as important as those on stage. From building the set and creating costumes to managing props, helping backstage, welcoming our audiences and spreading the word, there are so many different ways to get involved.
You don't need to be a performer to be part of our panto family. Whether you've got a particular skill you'd like to share, enjoy getting creative, love working behind the scenes, or simply have some spare time and want to help, we'd love to hear from you
Directors
Our directors and production team help shape the show from the very beginning, bringing ideas together and guiding the production through rehearsals and performances.
Choreographers
Help create the big dance numbers and bring energy and movement to the stage. We're always keen to hear from people with experience or enthusiasm for choreography and dance.
Band & Musicians
Music is a huge part of any great pantomime! We welcome musicians who might be interested in joining the band and helping provide the live musical accompaniment for the show.
Costumes, Hair & Makeup
Help bring our characters to life! From creating and sourcing costumes to hair, wigs and makeup, there's plenty to get stuck into behind the scenes.
Lighting, Sound & Technical
Interested in the technical side of theatre? Lighting, sound, special effects and stage technology all play a huge part in bringing the show to life.
Set, Scenery & Props
Enjoy making things? Our set and props teams help transform the stage into the magical world of our pantomime. Whether you're handy with a hammer, creative with a paintbrush, or simply happy to lend a pair of hands, we'd love your help.
Crafting & Making
Your skills could be put to great use helping with all sorts of other creative projects.
Backstage & Stage Crew
There's always plenty happening behind the curtain! Stage crew help with set changes, props, scene transitions and keeping everything running smoothly during performances.
Front of House
Fancy being involved without going on stage? Our front-of-house team help welcome audiences, manage the auditorium and make sure everyone has a great experience.
And Everything Else!
There are countless jobs that go into putting on a panto, and we couldn't do it without our volunteers.
If there's something you'd like to help with that isn't listed above, please get in touch anyway. You may have a skill or idea that we haven't even thought of!
